A long time ago on Oprah, there was this lady who had written an article called, "You spot it, you got it." Well I have always thought about it since watching that episode and I try so hard not to be judgmental and critical. But I still am.
Before I had kids, (and when I only had one who was very small) I said a lot of times, "My kids will NEVER......." Let me just say, just about everything I've ever said, "My kids will NEVER...." Has happened.
Yesterday, one of my children (who shall remain nameless), did something (that will also not be told on this blog) that just a month before I was totally mad that another child had done. And I trashed (to a friend) the other parent for the way they behaved in the situation.
I am SO sorry I did that, because I was taught a very important lesson yesterday. My child did the exact thing that the other child did, and I behaved the exact same way.
So the moral of my story is 'Never say Never'. Or 'don't judge a man (mother) till you have walked a mile in his (her) shoes'. Or 'if you think something about someone, NEVER say it out loud because then you totally have to eat your words. And that is a bitter pill to swallow'.
If you are dying to know what happend, you can call me. I might tell you. I might not! ;)

Yes, I have leared (the hard way) that you put a curse on yourself when you say things like "that will never happen to me, I'll never allow my kids to do that, etc." It's like karma or something. Expect my call any minute. :)
Have we not ALL been there. The time I saw a kid peeing out in his yard and what mortified. And then the next week my kids, yes kid"S" were running around the backyard without there pants on:)
