Here's today's reason:
I promise that this picture doesn't do it justice. It is torn up newspaper in case you can't tell, and it is ALL OVER the yard. I just couldn't get the whole shot of them and the newspaper without them seeing that I was taking their picture. I didn't want them to think that it was "cute" in a naughty way. (One of the culprits isn't pictured.)
She doesn't know it yet, but as soon as the mess is picked up, she's grounded from playing with friends for a few days.
Also, I don't want anyone to think that I'm blaming this on the friends. Brooklyn would have been perfectly capable of doing it herself. It just so happens that she did have help today.
I better go see to it that the mess is picked up before I start getting calls from neighbors wondering why our trash is all over their yard.
:)

Oh my gosh! I guess it could be worse, it could be your mail all ripped up and all over the lawn! What were they doing?!
Thanks for keeping your eye out for a good deal on the DS. I have been looking too but so far no deals.
Yah, my friends still try and get me into trouble. :)
It is true (no matter how great the kids are) one may not think of it, but when their in packs...
If you think that's bad you definitely shouldn't let your kids talk to Aunt Becca about the fun she and her friend Jill used to have :)
Oh, sure.Blame it on sweet, little girls....
Maybe a dog did it? LOL
Oh boy I can't wait to have kids! :) haha
It's a good thing we moved away since the neighborhood is all trashy now! haha, just kidding! Love ya anyways! Megan
Fun fun fun!!at least they weren't doorbell ditching. Btw, My boys picked up some pieces with cartoons on them and wouldn't throw them away! now I know which way the wind blows...
Jill makes a good point. It could have been a chocolate milk slip n' slide in the neighbors kitchen. Or they could have called 911 to say Brooklyn's house is on fire.
Brooklyn really is a Sorensen!
