Of course they said, "YEAH!" Well, because I had no intention of getting them one... I said, "well.. daddy says No." The kids of course then said, "Why?" Robert (who was there and hadn't actually said no, but didn't care that I said he said no) then said, "Who would feed that puppy. Brooklyn said, "You would." Robert and I looked at each other and laughed. Then he said, "When the dog poops, who will clean it up." Brooklyn said, "You will." Robert and I once again exchanged amuzed glances. Then I said, "that's why daddy says 'no'. Because he'll have to do all the work." Then Brooklyn said, "Jaron (her cousin, our nephew) has a magic thing that picks up dog poop. You put a bag on it and then you put it on the dog poop and it picks it up. We could just get one of those things Jaron has." We explained to her that it's still work and we probably wouldn't be getting a dog today. Maybe someday. And when we do...we WILL get one of those Magic Pooper Scoopers.

I love to hear Brooklyn talk. She says the funniest things. She's a hoot.
