Happy Halloween!!

Here we are a few days ago.. picking pumpkins.
Carving the pumpkins! Brooklyn and Jacob designed and carved their own pumpkins. I helped Nathan and Ponyo (our cat).

Robert and I helped Chloe a little with the cutting. She did a good job of getting the seeds out though.

Here are the kids minus Chloe. Her pumpkin got done first and then she went to bed.
Here she is with hers!
5 little pumpkins all in a row.
Choo Choo! It's Thomas the Train!
Chloe didn't want her hood on. She really doesn't pull off the "Cheer Bear" costume very well.
Jacob on the other hand does look like a scary skeleton.
And our vampiress without her teeth in.
Here are all the cousins about to go out and trick or treat in the pouring rain!
Chloe with her haul.
Brooklyn with her haul.
Jacob with his haul.
Nathan with his haul.
(Not Pictured)
Me with my haul. Just imagine all of the above candy minus 60 pieces, and that's my haul. Every year the kids like us to buy their Halloween candy off of them. (They get about $10.) This year I really didn't want too. I just wanted them to eat their candy. But they were insistent. I used to be afraid that it would take the fun out of Halloween, but really it hasn't. I will tell you one thing... I NEVER would have sold my candy.
I'll tell you something else... Robert every year says, "We need to just throw that candy away." We never do.

Confessions? So the truth comes out! My kids both got a full-size Snickers this year, which just so happens to be my favorite. I don't think I can get away with sneaking it. Somehow I think they'll notice.

I love that Nathan wasn't letting any of his candy go for the picture. I'm surprised he sold it to you!
