G-R-A-S-S-H-O-P-P-E-R-S

Here's what's been hopping around our house lately...

Grasshoppers aren't so bad are they?

In church...I remember wondering what was so bad about a plague of locusts.

A few at a time I know aren't so bad.

But what about Grasshoppers.........

By the millions!!!
The fields by our house have populated millions and millions of baby grasshoppers. And we all know that babies grow up! So just imagine a million big grasshoppers climbing up your house. A plague of locusts now sounds like a nightmare doesn't it!

The pictures are actually of a neighbors house. Ours isn't that covered. But we have them everywhere!

Pictures courtesy of Jacob and Brooklyn. I let them take the camera's and take pictures. They did a darn good job!!!

If this was happening at my house I would be freaking out. Why aren't you freaking out? Are they eating all your flowers, etc? I'm glad they didn't eat Brooklyn and Jacob and they did do a great job of taking pictures

I'm not going to lie, those pictures make me very uncomfortable. I feel like I need a shower.

Creepy! I remember a year when we had these huge green caterpillars everywhere. You could hear them squish as you drove down the road. My kids (which included Marian) thought it was really funny!

Just imagine what it will be like when you get back after being gone for four days-AHHH!!! They will have found a way into your house-enter Jaws theme music.

Did Kristen Isom get ahold of you? The neighbors on my block all pitched in money to have a plane fly over spraying pesticide. Hopefully it will kill most of them! I hate going outside, you can 'hear' your grass moving from them. Disgusting!! ---rob

Oh my word! That is insane! I don't like grasshoppers, it seems like they don't jump straight and they always hit me.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! I hope they spray that poison around when you are gone. Good luck!

And to think that I'm missing all the fun! Boy that would have been so much fun to experience, J/K! I think I would have baricaded myself inside until they were all gone, yucky! So then who's house is that? And to think our kids would have had so much fun trying to catch all of them together, oh well!

Gross! That's not fun. Makes you want to shut the doors quickly, and not let the kids out until they all go away! Not fun.
