Brooklyn's First Day of Kindergarten

Wow! I can't believe this day is here. It seriously seems like yesterday I brought her home from the hospital. Kids grow up too fast.

She was so excited to go to kindergarten.

Yes, she is wearing a long sleeved shirt becaue she REALLY REALLY wanted to wear her new school clothes.

She ran ahead of me the whole way. Someone didn't feel as sad as I did I guess.

She has a friend in her class already, and some boys from primary are also in her class. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Thompson. She seems like a wonderful kindergarten teacher! Robert and I have already been very impressed with her.

What a cute little girl if I do say so myself. If only I could figure out a way to keep her this age. ;) Robert thinks I'm crazy for thinking this. Oh well. At least I didn't cry when she left. Hmmm... neither did she. =)

Oh, and in case you are wondering, Yes I know this song I am playing on my blog is corny. I don't care....Robert! When you have a blog, you can post whatever songs you want!

How can last year's Sunbeams already be kindergartners? I'm glad she has a good teacher. It will make a big difference for the rest of her schooling.
