Brooklyn has been amazing us lately with her knowledge of the moon. For example, did you know that the moon is made of swiss cheese? And did you know that there is a man on the moon who blocks out part of it some nights. That's why it looks different all of the time. And there is a man who holds the moon in the sky. Also, make sure you stay away from shooting stars, because they have fire on them.
Ignoring our repeated attempts at correcting her misinformation, she keeps spouting off her knowledge of the moon. The other night we told her it was the EARTH that was blocking the sun from shining on the moon. She said, "I know." But this morning... she started telling more "moon truths."
Finally this morning on the way to school, when she was giving me her latest tidbit of knowledge, I said, "Where did you learn all of this?" She said, "I learned it from Looney Tunes."
Then it must be true.

Having had conversations with Brooklyn myself and trying to correct her opinion of something, I totally understand. She will not be swayed. She is steadfast in her belief. And she's never wrong. She's a genius in my opinion.
that is the funniest thing.. it kills me where kids get their conceptions of things.. addison has been watching mulan like crazy and they talk about the huns and how they are the bad people so now when someone is mean to her she will say mommy they are a hun.. LOL
Brooklyn is a genius! And today she told me when she grows up, she is going to be Ariel (The little mermaid).
