But Wed. night I rented a movie from Redbox (free code BEEMOVIE). The movie was "Barbie as Mariposa". She watched it that night and all day on Thursday. She has told me, no less than 20 times, that she wants to be Mariposa when she grows up because:
A. She will be able to fly and
B. She will be able to breathe under water. (You're just going to have to watch the movie if you have more questions).
One time she asked me if faries really can breathe under water. How do you answer that. I told her faries aren't really real. She said, "yeah. But I am going to grow up to be Mariposa still." On our way into the Dr.'s office, she said, "But how will I learn to flap my wings?"
I told her I didn't know. I truly don't.

I hate situations like this. Yesterday Eli said that he wanted another big feather so that he could fly. Then he said that he would cut one out of paper. I had to tell him that he still wouldn't be able to fly. It made me feel bad! I want him to have that hope of being able to fly but I have to be honest if he asks about it, it's a difficult choice.
Well last week, Brooklyn wanted to be Ariel (the mermaid). I am just hoping that in another week, she'll want to be something more realistic like a Ballerina Shopper. (That's what it was several months ago).
Hey I am 32 and I still want to fly. You can't kill my dream.
How is the rash now? I forgot to ask yesterday. Poor little girl.
