While hiking in Capitol Reef, my BIL Scott found this bug in a cave. It was pretty much dead when he got it (and having a 6 year old haul it around didn't help.) Most of Robert's family think it is some type of cricket. Let's see if you can NAME THAT BUG.
So if you are wondering what happened to this bug...Jacob carried it around for about two hours. When we got back to camp...he put it in a hot chocolate cup. (Empty of course) Well.. the cup with the bug disappered. I HOPE it just got thrown away.. and not drank. EWWW. I was glad though that I had these pictures. I did want Jacob to take it to school for show and tell.
